Dennis picked up the bass at an early age and learned everything he could off FM radio and his older brother's LP's.  He gravitated to the Memphis/Southern sounds of artists such as Wilson Pickett and Booker T, and soon discovered southern rock artists Allman Bros. and Lynyrd Skynyrd where he honed his bass skills in blues influenced rock.  He later moved to LA. to try his fortunes with original bands seeking recording contracts all the while gigging on the side with blues and R&B acts around town.  

He prides himself in being able to play all popular music in the style and feel it was intended to be played but has always had a soft spot for the earthy and timeless sounds of southern rock that inspired him to take his playing to the next level years ago.
